Ken Collins has been my go-to home inspector for Buyers and Sellers throughout the South Bay for years. He was originally introduced to me by my dad, cousin, and uncle — all mentors to me as I entered the real estate industry — and I’ve trusted him ever since.

Ken Collins did a fantastic home inspection for my husband and me. I was worried because I didn’t see any recent reviews and he’d been in business for a long time – so I wasn’t sure he’d still be spry enough to crawl under the house or into the attic. As soon as I saw him I knew he would be totally fine. He’s in good physical shape to do the work.
Ken’s home inspection was thorough and he identified several things that needed attention, plus things that were functional but could be improved upon if we chose to. Ken took the time to discuss all of the concerns with us, so there were no surprises in the report. Ken clearly enjoys helping people through his excellent home inspections.
I showed some of Ken’s under-the-house photos and the report to a plumber, who was able to provide an estimate without going under the house. We later had an electrician come to fix another of the identified problems, and the electrician was very impressed and surprised that a home inspector would have caught the problem, which is hard to identify.
I highly recommend Ken for anyone who wants a thorough, high quality home inspection done by someone you can trust. Ken does excellent work. He cares about the work and he cares about you, the customer.
Ken did the inspection for our home. (Thank you so much Ken!) He was punctual, very professional and friendly. My husband and I appreciate how thorough his inspection was and how he would pause from time to time to explain his progress and things that stood out to him. We also appreciate how he was very patient and clear when answering all of our questions. We received his report by the end of the day. His report included more items than the original inspection report we received from the seller. It was also more organized and easier to read than the seller’s report.
